REFLECTION 4.

Q1) In the last line, what did the writer mean by suggesting that “he may have found more porcupines than rats?”

ANS:

He saw more of Singaporeans defending their country than lazybums sitting as a potato couch. That there are more heroes and heroines than cowards who does not want to face the challenges that lies ahead.

Q2) What’s worth giving up your life for?

Giving up for the Nation. We must be proud of Singapore, our country.Singapore provided a home for us to stay in.Singapore is our country. We must be proud of Singapore .Don't think that a little red dot can't defend itself. We the people of Singapore pledged that we would stand up for our country when there's an invasion, like, wars or terrorism.

Giving up for our family.Family is the most important thing in my life right now.Without a family,I won't have happiness.Family is laughter.Family is everything a homeless child wants now.I am lucky to have a family that cares about me and supports everything that I do.My family took care of since I was just a baby and now,I must repay them by giving them moral support when they grow old.

REFLECTION 3.

Q1) Why Coral Secondary School forbids students to idle around near their school in their school uniform?

ANS:
Coral Secondary School emphasis on inculcating in their students good habits like using time wisely.

Q2) Do you agree with this rule? Explain your answer.

ANS:

Yes and No.
Yes , because the school does not want their school good name go bad.If the school's good name becomes bad,Coral Secondary will lose face. And I bet that people do silly things outside school in their uniform and get into many types of trouble causing the school to "be involved".Once the student from a particular school makes trouble, the public will know and say bad things about that particular school. That is why Coral Secondary doesn't want their students to loiter outside school in their uniforms.
But,it is also a No because it is unfair to the students who wants to buy lunch outside school as they may not eat at home.Sometimes, even the need of doing projects at the library needs the permission,it is totally unfair!!!!!

STRAITS TIMES REFLECTION 1.

Q1) How did the teenagers trespass into Singapore Island Country Club?

ANS:

The teenagers were taking a walk at a forested near MacRitchie Resevoir , after drinking .
They were drunk.

Q2) Is underage drinking correct? Explain your answer.

ANS:

No.Drinking may cause a severe headache/dizziness and talkativeness.Anyway, youths under the age of 18 or 21 aren't allowed to drink. It's against the Singapore law.Early heavy alcohol use may have negative effects on the physical development of brain structure. Because when we're young , our brain is not mentally developed. So,when we drink,it causes mentality in the brain.Alcohol is likely to produce withdrawal symptoms, including severe anxiety, tremors and hallucinations. Alcohol also has an addiction in it.Futhermore, the physical health effects associated with alcohol consumption may include cirrhosis of the liver, heart disease, increased chance of cancer , many other diseases and death from many sources. It can lead to permanent damage to vital organs such as the brain and liver. Underage youths are likely to contract these of these diseases. So, Main Point of my reflection is,
UNDERAGE DRINKING IS NOT GOOD!

days grow longer and as the time goes by, things are taking their change. may love remain no matter how the weather change. may love remain no matter how tough the life may be. may love remain no matter how cruel the reality is.
